What is
Garden of Eden about?

What is
Garden of Eden about?

Oli illustrated this piece as an homage to every founder in the world. You see, the word founder gets thrown around quite a bit, more often than not with negative connotation. The Garden of Eden flips the script, telling the colorful story of "the founder" in all of its glory, in 4 major phases.

Floor one of the Garden of Eden: founders in white running in every direction among scattered stars

1. Chaos

1. Chaos

Everyone is chasing a star.

At the bottom of the garden, founders run in every direction, each after a dream of their own. Stars are scattered between them. Nothing is in order yet.

Floor two of the Garden of Eden: founders carrying dominoes between a stream of water and flames

2. Action

2. Action

Fire and water.

One floor up, the founders go after the idea. Fire is the spark that gets them moving. Water is what tries to put it out: the naysayers, and the many disappointments that come with this stage.

Floor three of the Garden of Eden: an orchestra seated on giant dominoes, led by a conductor in a white cape

3. The Symphony

3. The Symphony

Your part in something bigger.

Higher still, the dominoes and the orchestra. Your idea finds its place among others and adds its own part to the symphony of life.

Floor four of the Garden of Eden: a temple on a green hill with a vase at its centre

4. The Temple

4. The Temple

A world of your own.

At the top is the temple, the world you built. Your audience comes to it, finds value and grows it with you, which is why figures line the facade. The vase at the centre is the value you create.

Atelier WOO is a full-service brand strategy and creative studio based in New York. We help design-forward businesses reposition their brand so they can show and charge what their work is worth. We find what makes each founder hard to copy and build a visual world around it. And we do it by hand.
